Back in 1966, we started as a small firm with big dreams. Fast forward to today, we’ve grown into a mid-sized, employee-owned company with 12 offices strategically spread across North America. Our reputation for providing practical solutions to complex problems, especially in the hydropower sector, is something we’re incredibly proud of.

At Kleinschmidt, our core values shape everything we do—from how we treat each other to how we serve our clients and communities. We’re actively involved in STEM initiatives at junior high and high schools and are founding sponsors of the Hydro Foundations Waterpower Club - Waterpower Community Partnership (WC2) at colleges across the U.S. Our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment is deepened through our partnerships with organizations like the Society of Women Engineers, the Women in Hydropower Mentorship Program, and Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, just to name a few.
